Yeah. So I was sitting in Microbio today, learning about... wow, I can't really remember. o.O; anyway, I got distracted, and started doodling. What had started out as Snowfire started to turn into some random mechanoid dragon I'd never really thought of before...

And I remember Mkall talking to me about his dragon character he'd thought up, Firespinner. Gave me a rough idea of his design, and so tried to run with it. A bit of it doesn't match up, but... hey, that's what artistic liberties are for.

ANYPOO, the abdominal region sort of telescopes in on itself when he transforms. The rest is pretty open-and-shut.

I also need to shorten those arms and get rid of the RID Megs-ish rounded shoulderpads. : [

But other than that? I'm quite pleased about how he looks. The robot mode head could be better... but I have this thing for Bishonen TFs... And yes, I plan on making him look a slightly less pretty boy, and a little more mature... Don't be surprised if the design continues to change, once I get Mkall's feedback on it and all that.

Transformation: A red/silver flying serpent-like dragon with long, slender wings

Profile: Firespinner is an enigma. He weaves complicated tales consisting of half truths, utter lies and subtle misdirection, he should not be trusted at all, and yet he’s the confidant of most of The Decepticon Knights. He has a trusting aura about him that calms others down when they’re near him which helps them feel at ease, making it easy for him to gain information from them. Firespinner is very manipulative, with but a drop of a single word or sentence he can set two peaceful parties into fighting one another. He is confidant, but not overly so, he has no ego. Firespinner disdains fighting, he prefers to use his words to get others to fight for him, or better yet to get his enemies to fight each other. Firespinner never lets his real emotions show, there’s always a calm face and if he decides to let his emotions show, chances are they aren’t truly genuine. He is considered one of the best in his field of work.

Abilities: Firespinner’s long slender dragon form is not heavily armoured, he instead uses his agility and sensor-reflective proporties to avoid most encounters. In this mode he could use four sets of sharp claws, teeth and can fire an adhesive solution from his mouth that evaporates quickly revealing a powder that explodes on contact to common gasses of several different types of atmospheres. The result has been described as “The worst wreck I have ever seen.” This weapon converts into a rifle in robot mode, which he uses as a last resort. Firespinner has the ability to control the intensity of flames, this ability is put to good use if the autobot happens to be wielding a flame thrower. He is extremely agile in dragon form and has above average maneuverability in robot mode. His armour can both absorb scanning device signals, and help him blend into the background so a casual visual sweep will fail to detect him.


Weaknesses: Firespinner considers himself to be a gentleman, and will never physically attack a female, no wonder . That doesn’t stop him from using words against them, though.
