So... (Rambleeeeee.)Well. Aside from the Gaia pics I've posted recently, I haven't done much in the way of art. >n>; At all. My muse is kinda like, quasi dead.
Most of my time is being spent on Gaia, namely in zOMG! despite my dissatisfaction with the way the game is going lately. I'm usually screwing around blowing up noobs with Cherry Fluffs or sitting around camping for Flying Giftboxes... whichever comes first.
Either that or I'm on Valenth, which... is kind of a disappointment too at times. I've been alt hunting since they released alts (shinies, basically), and have yet to find one of my own. >3>; it's saddening, especially when some users have procured upwards of 10 shinies or so with seemingly no effort.
Hanyway, in other news... I guess it's safe to say I am officially over Brent / Hotshot94... If he even existed. o_o I have this nagging suspicion he wasn't who he said he was. If he was even a he. In which case that would be a srs OMGWTF moment for me. >n>;
I have to thank my friend for that whom I met on Gaia, ironically, through zOMG!. We met nearly half a year ago when I was passing through Otami Ruins. He and a crew were farming the Masks you can trigger by running up stairs for the jewel eyes. I was bored, I figured me and my CL 10ness could be a bit of help to them and act as the Mask bait, so I had much fun running up and down the ruin stairs so he and his crew could smash the maskies for loot.
I didn't see the guy again until later when I was puttering around Gold Beach... probably looking for a Shallow Sea crew. Idunno. A couple SS crews with him and he added me. I eventually took to Robofishing with him a bit while he worked on his badge (and had much fun in the process C= ).
He kinda disappeared off my radar for a while once he got his 5k, and I didn't see him again until a few weeks later when I was wandering through Bass'ken Lake. I layer hopped to him, noticed he was just chilling in some random bushes, asked him what he was doing... Farming Giftboxes for his 5k. I needed the loot for some items, so I decided to hang out with him and join in the fun.
A few weeks of Giftboxing (which was mainly a lot of sitting around and talking while waiting for the Night Patrol or the Wailing Windmill spawns)... he just kinda randomly mentions that he likes me, and would like to get to know me a bit better. o-O;
Now, at the time I was... still kind of holding out for Brent (who's disappeared off the face of the earth for like THREE EFFING YEARS K THX)... so I initially didn't like the guy. XD BUT. I decided to humor him, warning him that it takes me a good long while to get to know someone. Throw in another month or so of Giftbox farming and... well yeah. I started digging him too. >n>; He helped me to realize that sitting around and waiting for someone who hasn't even bothered to keep in touch with me somehow is probably not worth it, and I ought to move on. So I did.
Fast forward to present day, we're giving the long distance thing a shot. Fortunately he lives a lot closer than, say, TEXAS. >n>;;;
Because of this, and the fact we both want to get to know the REAL people behind the cute little chibi pixel avatars... he's coming up here to visit me for like, a super long weekend. IN A WEEK AND 3 DAYS.
CUE SPAZZFIT. ASDFGHJKL;ASDFGHJKL
Yeah. I mean I'm incredibly excited. Most of my high school friends don't live anywhere near me anymore (or they don't ever ask me to go hang out... T^T) so... I'm kinda. Lacking in the social department. Having someone to spend time with and snug and be geeky with watching Transformers or playing Brawl just kinda sounds fun.
I'm just a bit worried that we won't "click" right away, and that would lead to some srs awkwardness... D= Or worse, things won't "work out". So... I'm just going to go into it as calm and patient and open-minded as possible. Hopefully.
I've never met anyone that I've known online, in person before. Hence the anxiety.
We still need to procure a storage shed for our house within this next week, which won't happen unless some of my mom's eBay auctions end well, plus some srs house cleanage in between... No pressure there or anything. >n>;
TL;DR: Art muse is on strike again because of Gaiaonline / Valenth / my laziness. I'm also meeting someone I've known online for half a year in about a week. I'm srsly stressed / excited / scared.
